Joshua D. Brookstein Joins New York Junior Board of Teach for America and Nassau County Family Court Children’s Center Advisory Council

Joshua D. Brookstein, an Associate with the Firm, has been appointed as a member of the Teach for America – New York Junior Board. Formerly known as the Young Professionals Committee, The Junior Board is committed to creating positive change within the movement for education equity in New York City. Since 2009, the board has raised approximately $1 million to support Teach for America – New York’s corps members, alumni, and the more than 110,000 children they serve.

In addition, Mr. Brookstein has been appointed to the Advisory Council of the Nassau County Family Court Children’s Center. The center, which is run by the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, provides short-term childcare services to children ages 0-12 years old while their parents are required to appear in Family Court.
