Top ranked, full service, Long Island-based law firm seeks Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to assist with all areas of the Firm’s practice, but who will work primarily in commercial litigation and employment and labor law. Admission to practice law in New York State is required. New Jersey admission is a plus. The ideal candidate should be organized and able to maintain and meet deadlines, and should have experience performing legal research and drafting litigation documents, such as complaints, answers, motions, discovery demands and responses. The candidate should have substantial experience working with clients in various land use, zoning and municipal law matters, including land use application, legalizations and local laws, litigating Article 78 proceedings, presentations to administrative boards and agencies, due diligence reports and providing general advice and counsel to elected and appointed officials.
