Brandon C. Kemp, is an Associate with the firm focusing on labor and employment law as well as commercial litigation. Mr. Kemp’s prior legal experience includes working as a law clerk in various local firms in a wide range of legal fields including real estate, matrimonial, foreclosure, and estate matters. Mr. Kemp is admitted to practice law in the New York and New Jersey State Courts as well as the Eastern and Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Brandon is also an active member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations.
Mr. Kemp earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Business Management from Farmingdale State College in 2020. Mr. Kemp thereafter earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2024, where he was recognized for his academic excellence and dedication to community service. More particularly, Mr. Kemp received the Pro Bono Graduate Recognition Award for his volunteer work with Catholic Charities of Long Island, assisting children with immigration matters, including special immigrant juvenile status applications. Mr. Kemp was also recognized for his excellence in legal writing having received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Persuasive Writing. During law school, Mr. Kemp served as a board member of the Trial Advocacy & Practice Honor Society, competed in inter-school moot court competitions and organized mock trial programs for high school students.
Mr. Kemp’s insights on renewable energy in agriculture, particularly its application to land use and zoning, has been published in Thomson Reuters’ New York Zoning Law and Practice Report. In his article, Farming the Future in New York: Sweet Corn, Apples, Milk, Floriculture, & Electricity?, Mr. Kemp explores how farmers can utilize renewable energy solutions to boost agricultural output while generating stable revenue streams during times of economic uncertainty.
